Your Role
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a central part in delivering our people strategy by managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting managers across the business, driving performance management, and ensuring HR operations run smoothly and compliantly.
You will work closely with the Head of HR to provide pragmatic advice, deliver accurate reporting, improve HR processes, and support the growth and development of colleagues across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting & Data Analysis - Produce accurate HR reports on performance, absence, 121 completion, vacancies, and attrition. Analyse trends and recommend improvements, ensuring timely reporting to senior leadership.
* HR Procedures & Compliance - Handle HR administration such as probation reviews, contract changes, flexible working requests, and leavers. Advise managers on absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters in line with employment law and company policy.
* Change Management & Process Improvement - Support organisational change by using HR data to propose improvements. Continuously review and enhance HR processes to align with best practice and business priorities.
* Recruitment & Onboarding - Support end-to-end recruitment, including job design, interviews, offers, and social media campaigns to attract talent. Oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition from hire to full integration.
* Employee Relations & Manager Support - Build strong working relationships with managers and provide practical HR support on at-risk cases and complex employee relations issues.
Who We\'re Looking For
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a retail environment
* Level 5 CIPD qualified
* Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
* Discreet and trustworthy, handling sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
* Efficient and proactive, following through to completion.
* Confident using HR systems and Excel
