This includes pushing boundaries in Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) - ensuring our clients are discoverable in AI-powered and voice-driven search experiences.Duties will involve managing the online presence for various clients with a strong focus on SEO, whilst working alongside other channels.We’re serious about building our business and we believe now is a fantastic time for someone to join us in this role, as we continue through a period of sustained growth and evolution. Come and be a pivotal part of our journey!Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning monthly SEO campaign work and regularly reviewing performance, based on each of our clients business objectives and channel goalsExecuting campaign work for a variety of different businesses with varying budgets and business objectivesAnalyse and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase keyword rankings & grow organic trafficPerform regular SEO health checks and auditsImplement AEO strategies to improve visibility in AI-powered search results (e.g. Google’s SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT-style engines)Conducting competitor and market research, to determine how an online presence can best tackle climbing up the rankingsDesign and deliver an SEO strategy, working alongside the rest of the marketing team (especially for multi-channel campaigns)Report on marketing campaign performance, focusing on key business objectives and suggesting the best way forwardEvaluating the user experience of the online customer journey and on-page performanceOptimise website content & technical site set up for featured snippets, People Also Ask results, and structured data to support AI and voice-driven answersLiaising with our Account Managers & clients where required, ensuring we maintain our strong relationshipsMonitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity and third-party toolsAbility to set up Google Analytics & Tag Manager on websites to enhance the available tracking dataLeverage industry tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb & othersConduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic growthWorking with our content writers to improve website copy, including metadata, headers, and other fundamentals are optimised to improve search engine rankingsCollaborate with content creators to ensure SEO & AEO best practices are applied to new and existing contentPrepare and present regular performance reports to clients and internal stakeholdersAssist in the analysis and development of SEO & AI-friendly website structures and user-friendly navigationWhat We Need From YouProven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role, ideally in an agency environmentStrong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factorsAwareness of AI/AEO and how it differs from traditional SEOStay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates and best practicesProficiency in Digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Moz, ProRankTracker, Screaming Frog, Semrush & Peec.aiExperience with website analytics and data analysisKnowledge of CRO and how this blends with SEO is beneficial, although not essentialStrong problem-solving attitude and capability with a “can do” mindsetPositive, proactive individual who always strives to be better and deliver resultsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTrack record troubleshooting campaigns and delivering top ranking resultsAbility to 'spin many plates', working on multiple campaigns at one timeWe will consider a candidate who is not yet a fully fledged expert in SEO, although the preferred candidate will have had first-hand experience working on Search campaigns.We are committed to staff development and regularly work alongside our team to ensure we're always learning and improving.What We Can Offer YouExposure to a large variety of marketing channelsAn environment where no two days are the same with constant varietyA hands-on, agile and consistent approach to training and developmentOpportunities for role progression and career advancementCollaboration between a team of experts always striving to deliver the bestBe part of a forward-thinking agency pioneering AEO strategies to future-proof client visibility in an AI-first search worldWhat To ExpectEcho is one of the fastest-growing digital marketing agencies in Cambridgeshire.
