Job Description
Premier Recruit are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers on behalf of a leading container transport company based in Felixstowe.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for ongoing work with a well-established container operator.
The Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles carrying containers nationwide
- Tramping Monday to Friday with regular night outs
- Collection and delivery of containers to ports, depots, and customer sites
- Completing all relevant paperwork and compliance checks
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous container experience preferred
- Port cards advantageous but not essential
- Good understanding of Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
What We Offer
- £20.00 per hour
- £25.00 per night out
- Minimum 10 hours paid per shift
