Our 500-people strong business is growing, and we are looking for a Business Analyst with a background in IT to join our evolving team.
We seek candidates who are effective communicators, capable of owning stakeholder relationships and engagement, with a strong understanding of Bidwells as a company. As a Business Analyst in the IT team, you will analyze data, assess processes and systems, create solution designs, and plan for the future. This role is hybrid, and we offer a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience.
What you'll do:
1. Gathering and Preparation of Business Documents:
* Define and approve business cases
* Define and manage requirements
* Define and document business processes
* Create documents outlining proposed IT solutions
1. Delivery Planning:
* Create and implement delivery plans aligned with long-term goals
* Assess company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
* Monitor and adjust plans as needed
* Collaborate across departments to identify inefficiencies and redesign processes
* Understand stakeholder requirements and design IT solutions accordingly
* Consider business and policy constraints and assess implications
* Research and analyze technical and functional aspects of software used by Bidwells
* Analyze business problems or opportunities and identify improvement areas
* Assess effects of change and define success metrics
* Identify and elaborate on user and business needs for effective service design, development, and testing
* Develop enterprise and business architecture
* Conduct user experience analysis
* Create visual models such as process flow and data flow diagrams
2. Management:
* Identify potential problems early and ensure solutions are high-quality and fit for purpose
* Manage stakeholder relationships
* Conduct initial reviews of change
3. Acceptance Testing:
* Determine if software applications meet business needs
* Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are met
