are recruiting a Learning Support Teaching Assistant to join the Upper School team at ACS Hillingdon International School.
The Learning Support Teaching Assistant will be required to assist the classroom teacher with the preparation and delivery of lessons and the welfare of the class students.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. Demonstrable levels of numeracy & literacy equivalent to GCSE (A-C) or NVQ Level 2 (or by test).
2. Hold relevant qualifications at a level equivalent to at least NVQ Level 3 for supporting and teaching & learning in school.
3. Teaching EFL/ESL Reading.
4. Supporting children with difficulties in reading and writing.
5. Attend induction training; as appropriate and training relevant to the post, including behaviour management and Child Protection training.
6. Knowledge of adolescent concerns and current information sources.
7. Ability to work in teams in a variety of circumstances; ability to accept change with flexibility.
8. Proactive, approachable, empathetic, organised, highly visible, confident, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to observe confidentially

Working hours: Monday- Friday 8am- 3.30pm, term time only.
