Duties as a History Teacher:
1. Teach History across Key Stages [specify, e.g. 3–4 or 3–5], delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
2. Foster a love for historical enquiry and critical thinking in pupils.
3. Be committed to raising standards and achieving excellent outcomes.
4. Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, and enrichment activities.
Ideal History Teacher:
1. Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. Has a strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History.
3. Demonstrates high expectations for all pupils as a History Teacher.
4. Is a reflective practitioner, keen to continue learning and developing.
5. Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with students and colleagues.
