THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, full 360° recruitment consultancy role focused exclusively on the retail technology sector. You'll be working with a broad range of clients — from innovative retail technology vendors and solution providers to leading retailers and e-commerce businesses — building relationships, winning new business, and making quality permanent placements that make a genuine difference to the businesses and candidates you work with.
Milton Keynes sits at the heart of a thriving commercial corridor, well connected to London, the Midlands and beyond — making it an ideal base from which to serve a national client base across the retail technology space.
You'll be given access to a strong suite of tools and a market-leading CRM to help you identify, engage and convert your target audience — but make no mistake, this role is about people, not just process. WHAT YOU'LL DO
21. Proactively win new clients across the retail technology vendor and end-user market
22. Manage and develop an existing client base, deepening relationships over time
23. Manage the full 360° recruitment process from business development to placement
24. Source, engage and qualify retail technology candidates at all levels
25. Attend and network at key industry events such as NRF, The Retail Technology Show and Retail Expo
26. Conduct thorough candidate interviews and provide honest, consultative guidance
27. Negotiate salaries, offers and terms with confidence and professionalism
28. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across our CRM platform
29. Consistently deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and candidates alike
30. Represent the business as a true specialist ambassador within the retail technology community

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced recruiter who knows what good looks like and is ready to bring that to a business that will back them fully. You'll need to be resilient, driven, and genuinely passionate about the retail technology sector and the clients and candidates within it.
36. Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within retail technology, technology or a closely related sector
37. Demonstrable track record of winning new clients and building lasting relationships
38. Strong record of making quality permanent placements
39. Excellent negotiation skills — comfortable discussing terms, fees and salaries at all levels
40. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles and relationships simultaneously
41. Determined and resilient — you don't give up when it gets competitive
42. A natural communicator who puts relationships at the heart of everything they do
43. Knowledge of the retail technology landscape — including vendors, solution providers and key market players — is a strong advantage
44. Willingness to attend industry events and represent the business within the retail technology community
