Customer Service Advisor
📍 Location: HU1
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
💷 Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
We're currently looking for a confident and customer‑focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our HU1 location. This is a varied, fast‑paced role that combines customer success support with billing and accounts management.
The position is broadly split 50/50 between customer support and billing responsibilities, offering variety and the opportunity to develop a wide skill set.
🔹 Customer Success (Pre & Post Installation)
Supporting customers from sign-up through to installation
Handling inbound enquiries via phone, email, and live chat
Checking installation data with our network providers to check installations go ahead as planned
Proactively contacting customers to guide them through their journey
Resolving service queries, issues, and general account support
Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
Supporting retention and light upselling where appropriate🔹 Billing & Accounts Management
Handling all customer billing queries confidently and accurately
Taking payments and assisting customers with payment arrangements
Chasing overdue balances via phone and written communication
Managing aged debt and following internal bad debt procedures
Supporting service restrictions or collections processes where required
Ensuring customer accounts are kept accurate and up to dateWhat We're Looking For

Organised and detail-focused - especially when dealing with billing and accounts

Resilient - comfortable handling difficult conversations around payments or service issues
Proactive - takes ownership and sees things through to resolutionKey Skills & Experience
Previous experience in customer service and billing are a must have.
Experience handling payments, arrears, or collections (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication skills ( especially verbal)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
