We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Surfacing Agent to manage large-scale surfacing projects in the South West.
The Role
As a Senior Surfacing Agent, you will:
1. Manage Resources Efficiently: Organize labor, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and economically, meeting profit targets.
2. Project Coordination: Attend scheme handover meetings to understand pricing assumptions, resource allocation, site constraints, client expectations, and health and safety requirements.
3. Business Development: Support marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure work is conducted to high standards and oversee Chargehand’s compliance responsibilities.
5. Health & Safety: Promote health and safety policies, ensuring adherence by all project participants.

About You
We are seeking a candidate who:
1. Project Management Expertise: Can effectively manage and coordinate surfacing projects.
2. Health & Safety Commitment: Dedicated to health and safety, ensuring policies are followed.
3. Commercial Acumen: Understands project costing, payments, and compensation events.
4. Qualifications: Holds an HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction with relevant surface treatment and construction experience.
5. Licenses and Certifications: Possesses a full UK Driving Licence, SMSTS certification, and a CSCS Card for Site Supervisors.
