Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining food safety standards.
Duties:
* Assist the Head Chef in food preparation, and recipe creation & menu creation
* Supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain high culinary standards
* Lead by example, demonstrating excellent culinary skills and professionalism
* Help in training and developing kitchen staff to enhance their culinary abilities
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards
* Support the Head Chef in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Skills:
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a busy kitchen environment
* Proficient in various kitchen techniques and culinary skills
* Ability to help coordinate food production efficiently while maintaining quality standards
* Skilled in supervising kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence
* Experience as a cook with expertise in food preparation and presentation
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment
