Be among the first 25 applicants. We are seeking a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at The Shires – Oakham / Stretton, Rutland. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead, split between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH, with a focus on meeting EHCP plans.

Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the onsite clinical team, including line management and service development of the school-based clinical service.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need.
* Collaborate with the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to ensure alignment with EHCP targets and clinical practices (OFG all/group/individual approaches).
* Maintain a person-centred, safeguarding-focused approach with pupils actively involved in decisions about their care.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support growth of colleagues, apprentices, students and therapy assistants.
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement within the clinical school-based service.
Location, Hours and Contract
* Location: The Shires, Stretton / Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands LE15 7GT / LE15 6JB (covering both sites).
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Contract: Permanent (term time only, or flexibility around full-time can be discussed based on personal circumstances).
Essential Criteria
* Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs; ability to write clear clinical/research reports.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and flexibly within a growing clinical service; experience of multi-professional teamwork.
