As a Senior Manufacturing Technician, you will follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to cGMP guidelines in order to manufacture medical cannabis products in an accurate, timely manner. You will be a point of contact between Manufacturers and Management to assist and guide the rest of the team in doing the same.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Prioritising based on an understanding of commercial importance, order complexity, product requirements, and patient need.
* Documenting and referring any discrepancies with reduced performance, non-compliances, and training requirements to a Supervisor.
* Allocating work, utilising skillsets to maximum effect.
* Performing accuracy checks at the in-process checking stages of all manufactured products.
* Safeguarding environmental requirements, such as PPE & garment changes.
* Acting as a role model to the wider team by promoting the standards expected and advising on best practise.
This role has become available due to the team growing at such a fast pace, we therefore need a Senior that thrives in that growing, motivated environment, with a commitment to learning, development, and striving for the best possible outcomes. To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:
* Completed an in-house checking competency course, or experience in a position where accuracy checks were performed
* First class organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* An approachable and supportive demeanour
* The ability to responsibly encourage and motivate others
* Sound practical judgment of priorities
