An enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant required to join the team in a good supportive Romford school.
As a EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support children in the reception area of the school through play-based learning, early phonics, communication, and social development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Start: 23rd February 2026 - Full Time Monday to Friday (term time only)
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Support children in Reception across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop communication, play, and early learning skills.
* Assist the class teacher with planning, activities, and daily routines.
* Prepare resources and help set up engaging learning environments.
* Support children with social interaction and emotional regulation.
* Experience working with children in Early Years (EYFS) (nursery, preschool, or primary school)
* A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
* Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
* L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.
