A Graduate / Junior Architectural Technologist is required to join a large, multiple award-winning AJ100 multi-disciplinary architectural practice, based in a striking contemporary studio in Leeds city centre.

The practice works on a wide variety of landmark projects from concept to completion, including Schools, University buildings, Residential developments, Commercial workplaces, and more. All work is delivered in Revit, so you’ll need a good foundation in Revit and a willingness to continue developing your skills in a BIM environment.
As a Graduate / Junior Architectural Technologist, you’ll work within a collaborative team, supporting the delivery of technical and detailed design packages on large-scale, complex projects across multiple sectors. Current responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the production of technical drawings and information packages
Developing a working understanding of the Planning process and Building Regulations
Supporting senior team members on projects from concept through to completion
Contributing to a proactive and well-organised approach to project delivery
Developing good written, verbal, and graphical communication skills
Managing time effectively and learning to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
Demonstrating resourcefulness and a willingness to research and develop new ideas and solutions
Where appropriate, assisting with client liaison and attending design team meetings
Developing a detailed knowledge and understanding of the practice’s procedures and standards
Qualifications / Experience:
BSc in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
Some experience using Revit (academic or practical)
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Graduate or junior-level experience (including placements or year-out experience welcomed)
A keen interest in progressing towards MCIAT is desirable
Remuneration:
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 – £27,500 per annum (depending on experience), along with a benefits package including pension, life assurance, and a structured CPD programme to support your professional development.
