Our client is looking for a Payroll and Remuneration Manager who will be responsible for the end‑to‑end payroll and remuneration administration for the London office and all overseas offices, working closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external payroll providers. This role is accountable for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of payroll and remuneration processes across the group. The postholder will manage outsourced payroll providers in multiple jurisdictions, maintain a strong control environment, and provide responsive support to employees and external advisors. Key Responsibilities: * Own the end-to-end payroll and remuneration process across the group within specified deadlines * Manage outsource payroll provider across multiple jurisdictions * Be responsible for all administration related to the task above including filing * Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and remuneration queries; deliver accurate, timely responses and trend analysis on recurring issues. * Process starters, leavers, absences, statutory pay and benefits * Prepare payroll journals and support accurate financial reporting * Administer carry and equity schemes * Produce monthly staff cost reports with variance analysis * Drive process improvements and strengthen systems and controls Key Competencies: * 5 years’ experience managing payroll, with a proven track record of overseeing an outsourced payroll provider. * Strong understanding of statutory and legislative payroll regulations. * High attention to detail with a strong controls mindset. * Ability to prioritise tasks, take initiative, and work to tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Team‑oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across functions. * Experience working with finance processes including reconciliations, journals, and audit support
