Job Description
3. Oversee and manage financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the accounting processes.
4. Identify and implement system improvements to optimise financial reporting and operations.
5. Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
6. Provide technical support and training to team members on financial systems and tools.
7. Develop and maintain system documentation and user guides.
8. Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial systems.
9. Analyse system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
10. Support the implementation of new financial systems and upgrades.
11. Strong understanding of Microsoft dynamics, ideally BC.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Systems Accountant should have:
12. A professional accounting qualification or equivalent educational background.
13. Proven experience in managing and optimising financial systems.
14. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
17. Proficiency in relevant financial software and systems.
