1. Provide legal and contractual support to the Tendering activities of the Company including
2. Review, qualification and negotiation of Terms and Conditions of Contract.
3. Liaison with Company’s Insurers to ensure alignment between Contract provisions and existing global policies.
4. Liaison with Finance and Legal departments regarding security bonds and guarantees.
5. Provide legal and contractual support to the Project execution activities of the Company including;
6. Provide guidance and support into the resolution of contractual and commercial disputes with Clients.
7. Ensure that contractual and legal documents are prepared in accordance with company policies and procedures.
8. Legal Management of Variation Orders .
9. Provide legal and contractual support to the Procurement activities of the Company including ;
10. Assessing the validity of Subcontractor VOR claims.
11. Provide advice and support in relation to the establishment of supplier agreements and placement of PO's.
12. Provide legal advice and support to the Company covering areas including (but not limited to) corporate, insurance, contract, dispute resolution, employment, migration and injury management (as and if required).
Requirements
Education:
Relevant law degree
Experience / Knowledge:
13. Significant relevant experience in a senior legal roleajor company preferably within the international energy industry and/or from recognized law firms.
14. Strong legal knowledge and understanding of contract law
15. Strong negotiations skills combined with commercial understanding.
16. Analytical and structured, with the ability to work independently and within short deadlines
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Comfortable working within an international team of professionals
