MAN Commercial Protection Ltd are an award-winning security company based in Solihull, West Midlands, providing manned guarding to a vast and varied client base across the UK. Our people are at the heart of our business and we are growing rapidly with ambitious future plans. We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our friendly head office team and play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening our market presence.


Responsibilities

* Generating sales leads for major blue‑chip companies and SME businesses using data, LinkedIn, and own research.
* Gathering and maintaining accurate customer information using a CRM system.
* Using targeted cleansed data to identify leads.
* Managing and maintaining our Dripify account, tailoring AI responses to clients, and guiding the automation process.
* Identifying decision makers and potential requirements.
* Maintaining a close relationship with prospects and clients; forming successful working relationships to allow scope for further ad‑hoc sales and drive future opportunities.
* Developing and managing existing customer requirements.
* Working closely with the Commercial Director on sales strategy and pipeline.
* Working alongside the Bid Writer to support proposals.
* Using platforms such as LinkedIn to promote the business, network, and initiate and progress leads.
* Providing regular updates to the CEO.


Qualifications & requirements

* Positive attitude, enthusiastic and must be able to show initiative.
* Professional and confident phone manner.
* Confidence to deal with people at all levels and of different backgrounds.
* More than 1 year of B2B sales/telesales/business development experience.
* Experience of working within the security or facilities management sector (highly desirable).
* Proven success in a similar role.


Compensation & Benefits

* Base salary of £30,000 per year with up to £40,000 OTE.
* Holiday entitlement of 21 days per annum plus all UK bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days.
* Commission of £100 per qualified appointment made.
* Contributory pension scheme.
* Access to company‑funded gym membership after completion of 6 month probation.
* Free parking and electric vehicle charging.

Location: office‑based role in Solihull, West Midlands. Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am–5.00 pm, inclusive of a 30 minute lunch break.
