We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in ENT on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful ENT department.
The successful appointee will be joining a department where they will be expected to undertake various duties within the department. The appointee will have the opportunity to manage Head Neck cancer patients through the regional Head Neck Cancer MDT. The regional Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid Cancer service is centralized at the main site and includes other sites too which cover Buckinghamshire. The combined cancer service covers a population of just fewer than 1 million. There is a weekly Head and Neck MDT and a Thyroid MDT, allowing all hospitals to be involved through a well-established video-link. Diagnostic work is carried out at one site while all major surgery and Chemo/Radiation therapy is offered at the other site.
