Accounts Manager, London
A leading, London based law firm is looking to hire an accounts manager on a permanent basis. This is a fully office-based role and the main responsibilities include implementing office accounts and invoicing procedures and ensuring that accounts ledgers are maintained.
Responsibilities:
Producing month end and management accounts reporting.
Taking responsibility for VAT returns.
Preparing annual accounts and accountant’s reports.
Supervising accounts assistants.
Dealing with queries and resolving problems.
Providing a high standard of service at all times.
Assisting with general administration duties.
Managing credit control and bank reconciliations.
Coordinating the outsourced payroll functions.
Staying up to date on any changes to solicitors accounts rules and the law.
Experience and skills:
Dealing with accounts within a law firm.
Knowledge of case management systems.
Previous experience in a Lexcel accredited firm.
Excellent computer literacy.
Understanding of solicitors accounts rules, VAT and regulatory obligations.
Proactive and positive attitude.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
This is a fully office-based role.
