Were recruiting Two Part-Time Support Workers to join our vibrant housing services for people aged 55+. This is not a service focused on decline its about community, independence, and living well.
Our residents are active, socially connected, and value confidence, choice, and having support that walks alongside them rather than taking over. If you believe later life can be full of purpose, connection, and possibility, youll feel at home here.
We have two roles available:
20 hours per week based at Ty Twyn Teg (Neath)
30 hours per week based at Ysbryd Y Mr (Port Talbot)
If youve worked in HSG-funded support services and are looking for a change of scene, wed encourage you to set aside any preconceptions about working with older people and take a closer look. Whether your background is in:
Domestic abuse services
Mental health support
Generic tenancy support
Or another area of supported housing
Your skills are highly transferable here good support is good support.
What youll be doing
Providing person-centred, strengths-based housing support across our schemes in Neath Port Talbot
Encouraging independence, confidence, and community connection
Supporting people to manage their tenancies and wellbeing
Being part of an engaged, friendly team that values creativity, humour, and fresh thinking
What were looking for
Experience in HSG-funded support services
A positive, open-minded approach and genuine enjoyment of working with people
Someone who values community and isnt afraid to think differently
A belief that later life can be active, social, and meaningful
