<div><h3>Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Clinical Skills & Prescribing)</h3><p>Teesside University is seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking pharmacist educator to support the continued development of our innovative MPharm programme and pharmacist independent prescribing provision.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deliver clinical skills teaching, prescribing education, simulation and practice‑based learning across undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programmes.</li><li>Contribute to OSCEs and all clinical skills delivery activities.</li><li>Support the implementation and growth of pharmacist independent prescribing education.</li><li>Demonstrate a developing profile in leadership, scholarship, curriculum development and/or professional practice innovation.</li><li>Collaborate with the Pharmacy@TU team to shape the future pharmacy workforce within the North East and beyond.</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>GPhC registered pharmacist from any background (community, hospital, primary care, GP practice, specialist services, prescribing practice or academia).</li><li>Experience in teaching and assessment across pharmacy programmes.</li><li>Knowledge of contemporary prescribing education, simulation and experiential learning, integrated pharmacy curricula, patient‑centred consultation skills, and interprofessional practice‑focused education.</li><li>Evidence of leadership, scholarship or curriculum development activity.</li><li>Access to DBS clearance (off‑orm O).</li><li>Willingness to contribute to staff development and recognition initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>A holiday entitlement of 259 hours (35 days), plus bank holidays.</li><li>Additional leave during the Christmas and New Year closure.</li><li>Special leave to support a range of circumstances.</li><li>Hybrid working arrangements: 60% on‑campus, 40% remote.</li><li>Support for personal development and recognition.</li><li>Family‑friendly benefits and an employee benefits platform offering discounts and health resources.</li></ul><p>The role is available on a full‑time or job‑share basis.
