Overview
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will help residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, delivering personalised care that promotes security, dignity and independence. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain the highest standards of care, and influence the rest of the team. You may assist with activities such as showing someone how to use a walking frame, supporting end-of-life meals, or speaking with a resident’s family, always with kindness.
You will work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and you may administer medication. A key responsibility is maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with the team.
