We are working with a specialist SEN school in Ware, supporting pupils aged 11–16. The school is committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where learning is meaningful, enjoyable, and accessible to all.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you’ll:
Plan and deliver creative, personalised lessons.
Support pupils with their academic learning and personal growth.
Monitor progress and celebrate achievements.
Encourage positive behaviour with patience and consistency.
Build lasting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities.
Occasionally travel between school sites or on outreach (a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential).

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths (Grade C/4+ or equivalent).
Experienced in working with young people with SEN.
Confident in classroom management and ICT.
Patient, resilient, and compassionate.
Dedicated to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Overseas Police Check (if you’ve lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
