Service and Maintenance Engineer
to join our dynamic Finning Power Rental team. In this exciting role, you will work on a diverse range of electric power projects across the UK and Ireland, ensuring our rental equipment is always in top-notch condition for our valued customers. Position Overview:
As a key player in our team, you will: Set up rental solutions and maintain equipment including generators, load-banks, transformers, and more. Support our customers with prime, backup, and emergency power solutions. What You'll Do:
Major Job Functions: Inspect, service, and maintain rental equipment according to maintenance schedules. Document inspections and prepare equipment for rental using the CAT inspection application. Set up rental equipment based on customer requirements and project specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely. Lead site installations, including the commissioning and decommissioning of rental solutions. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Your Skills and Qualifications:
Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electronic) or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in the rental energy sector or a similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical issues.
