We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff during shifts.
* Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations.
* Assist in cooking and food production as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise.
* Provide training and support to team members, fostering their development in hospitality and service skills.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked for efficient operations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Collaborate with management to implement new procedures or policies aimed at improving service quality.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Proven supervisory experience with strong team management skills.
* Culinary experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required.
* Experience in serving or barista roles will be considered an asset.
