Job Description:
We are seeking a technician to carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner, maintaining documentation of all works in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.
The role involves working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client’s premises.
Responsibilities include monitoring van stock, conducting inspections for truck safety, accurately completing job sheets, timesheets, and purchase paperwork, and managing equipment and tooling.
Candidates should have knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering and be willing to undergo additional training to excel within Crown Lift Trucks Ltd.
The ideal candidate will work independently and in a team, possess good communication skills, work to high standards, and adhere to deadlines.
Person Specification
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proficient in fault finding and repair
* GCSE grade C or above in English and maths
* Experience with Health & Safety in workshop practice
* Commitment to personal and professional development
* Excellent organizational skills, resourcefulness, and solution-driven attitude
* Attention to detail and high accuracy
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Strong communication skills
* Flexibility and resilience under pressure
* Positive attitude and motivation
* Experience in forklift truck service (preferred but not essential)
Working Hours and Benefits
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute lunch break.
