Corporate Partner – Birmingham – Up to £250,000
A highly regarded regional law firm with a strong reputation across the Midlands is seeking a Corporate Partner to join its expanding Birmingham office. With sustained investment in the region and a clear growth strategy, this is a rare opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a dynamic and ambitious practice.
The firm is recognised for advising a high-quality and diverse client base, including entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies, private equity investors and established corporates. This is an opportunity to lead on high-value, strategic work while playing a key role in shaping the firm’s corporate presence in Birmingham.
The Role:
* Leading on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A transactions and business sales and acquisitions
* Advising on shareholder agreements, joint ventures and investment work
* Providing corporate governance advice and complex strategic advisory support
* Driving the growth and development of the Birmingham corporate practice
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with responsibility for growing your own practice
* Leveraging existing networks and cross-referral opportunities across the firm
* Leading, mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team
* Playing a key role in shaping regional strategy and enhancing market presence
About You:
* Existing Corporate Partner or Senior Lawyer ready to step into partnership
* Strong reputation within the West Midlands market, ideally with a portable client following
* Proven track record in handling complex transactional work
* Commercially astute with strong strategic judgement
* Collaborative leader with experience in developing and mentoring teams
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to drive growth
