What the Role Involves
* Each shift is based on a specific route, stop, or station.
* You'll be provided with everything you need, including a tablet, survey materials, and ID, to carry out your work confidently.
* During your shift, you will:
o Approach passengers and invite them to take part in a short survey
o Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses
o Capture feedback on their journey and experience
o Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall)
* Shifts may vary: Some involve travelling on a bus for the full route; others are based at a bus stop or station (typically around 3 hours).
* You’ll be working independently, often in public‑facing environments, so confidence and resilience are key.
What to Expect
* Paid per shift (rather than hourly)
* Typically around 2 shifts per week, depending on local demand
* Flexible, part‑time work that fits around other commitments
* Free travel on the bus services you are surveying
