Fixed Term Account Manager
Location: John Lewis High Wycombe
Contract: Fixed Term/MAT Cover until August 2025, 37.5 hours/weekly, any 5 out of 7 days

JOB PURPOSE
In line with the F&B vision and mission, the Account Manager will lead an energetic and passionate team dedicated to creating experiences with our clients. They will be responsible for all retail activities that contribute to the brand’s image and leadership in the market by liaising with field and head office functions. They will oversee the daily running of the counter and mentor the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the team: the Account Manager guides their team towards achieving results and developing individual talents
* Creating an environment rich with ethics, integrity, and diversity, fostering positive team collaboration
* Managing employee relations issues with support from the Retail Development Manager, in accordance with company policies
* Facilitating regular team and individual communication to ensure shared knowledge
* Sharing the brand vision and business challenges, empowering the team and holding them accountable
Business development: the Account Manager embodies an entrepreneurial spirit
* Building CHANEL’s client portfolio through data collection aligned with brand standards
* Developing business initiatives consistent with brand strategy
* Managing staff rotas and operational zoning for optimal client experience
* Communicating stock needs to relevant parties
* Understanding the business environment and providing feedback to influence strategies
Creating experience: the Account Manager ensures a memorable client experience
* Leading by example on the sales floor with personalized client interactions
* Embracing omni-channel and digital shopping trends
* Resolving client complaints holistically to ensure satisfaction
* Providing the team with necessary tools and training
* Maintaining visual merchandising standards and a welcoming environment
