Our exclusive client based in Chorley is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team.
Duties Include
* Reconcile invoices and pass for payment
* Check and maintain weekly timesheets before sending to the payroll for payment
* Analyse and report any price differences to relevant department
* Balance, input and reconcile sales into accounting system
* Reconcile daily banking for sites reporting any discrepancies
* Calculate accruals and prepayments
* Reconcile balance sheet control accounts
* Manage, review and report on weekly stock orders highlighting any anomalies
* Supporting the wider accounts team in times of absence
The successful candidate will have accounting experience and a naturally analytical mind. You need to be a confident Excel user who is numerate and articulate with good communication skills.
