Your new school Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include ASC, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.
Your new role As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students and develop their confidence in mathematics. You will teach across a range of key stages, planning and delivering a curriculum that supports both attainment and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. You will:
Plan and deliver effective, differentiated Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculumMonitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback to support achievementCreate a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and high expectationsContribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental initiatives and extracurricular activitiesWork collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning standardsWhat you’ll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you will be a motivated and passionate Maths teacher with a commitment to student success and high standards of teaching. You will ideally have:
