Modern, well-equipped bodyshop environment The Role
As an MET Technician, you will be a key part of a professional bodyshop team, delivering right-first-time repairs to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify, record, and report additional damage during vehicle strip-down
Accurately log all parts, materials, consumables, and labour used on each repair
Minimise waste and ensure correct ordering of replacement parts
Carry out repairs in line with best practice and manufacturer procedures
Complete work within estimated repair times while meeting quality and safety standards
Check and maintain tools, equipment, and workshop materials
Seek clarification where job instructions are unclear or appear incorrect
Support the Bodyshop Manager with additional tasks as required What We're Looking For
Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair centre
Relevant NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ qualifications preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
High attention to detail and quality
