A well-established precision engineering business is looking for aTurner on a permanent basisto join their team. The role has been created due to a change in company structure and offers long-term stability in a supportive workshop environment.
Responsibilities as a Turner
* Setting and operating turning machines
* Working on prototypes and small-batch components
* Selecting tooling and understanding materials and job timings
* Producing high-spec, precision parts
The ideal candidate:
* Experience as a Turner, or a Miller looking to move into turning
* Experience with conversational or older machinery
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Able to work independently and within a team
