HGV Class 2 Driver (Ongoing / Temp to Perm) – Leeds
Major Logistics are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for our well-established client based in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Pay & Hours
1. Pay: £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
2. Shifts: Monday to Friday (no weekends) – Working 4-5 days per week
3. Start Times: Between 05:30 – 08:00
The Role
4. Typical day includes 5-12 drops
5. Deliveries mainly to garden centres and DIY stores
6. Palletised goods handled using an electric pallet pump truck
7. Focus on safe, professional, and customer-friendly delivery service
Requirements
8. Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
9. Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
10. Minimum 3 months’ recent 7.5T or Class 2 driving experience
11. Good communication and customer service skills
