Responsibilities
* Assist and support vulnerable people with personal and social care, encouraging independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes within the community.
* Promote, deliver and integrate key objectives related to the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Regulated work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
* Candidate must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member (or maintain membership) before formal offer of employment.
* PVG records will be updated as new information arises; relevant updates will be discussed prior to offer.

Applicants are required to provide details of at least two appropriate and relevant references, including the current or most recent employer with an approval from an appropriate senior manager. A reference from a former peer at the same level is not acceptable.
Additional Information
This is a permanent part‑time post based within Adult Support Services at the North West Area Centre, Kilmarnock.
Work Pattern: Day shift pattern – Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Annual Salary: £25,448 – £26,650 inclusive of a 10% shift allowance.
