* Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics.
* Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards, and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
* Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical, and electronic parts of machinery and equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance on plant and shop electrical systems and equipment.
* Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Time served electrician with industrial / maintenance experience
• 17th / 18th Edition
• Extensive knowledge of fault finding
• Extensive experience of working on DC systems
• Knowledge of electrical legislation and understanding of RAMS / SSOW / Permits / LOTO
Desirable
• Use of MEWP training
• Working at Height training
• Confined Space training
Key Interpersonal/Behavioral Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
