Job Description: Technical Spares Co-Ordinator
Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
* Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Holiday Entitlement
* 25 days annual leave per year (plus statutory bank holidays)
We are seeking a highly organised and technically minded Technical Spares Co-Ordinator to join our team. This role is central to ensuring that customers receive the correct spare parts in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have an engineering or technical background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex tasks while maintaining accuracy under pressure
This is a varied and hands-on role, with significant opportunity for career progression. Pay will be reviewed quarterly in line with skill development and contribution
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Quotations
: Provide accurate quotations for spare parts for our machinery as well as other OEM equipment
* Order Processing
: Input orders into production systems, raise purchase orders with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of parts
* Logistics & Despatch
: Arrange shipment of spare parts via couriers and pallet networks, manage fitting arrangements where required
* Project Management
: Handle both simple replacement jobs (e.g. ducting) and more complex spares requirements
* Organisation & Tracking
: Maintain meticulous records of quotations, orders, stock levels, and dispatch activities
* Collaboration
: Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth end-to-end process delivery
Candidate Requirements
* Technical, engineering, or manufacturing background (essential)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously (essential)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
* IT-literate, with confidence using order management and office software
