To support our expanding national network, Protyre Autocare is seeking a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our fast-growing automotive business. As an MOT Tester / Technician, you will carry out MOT tests and mechanical repairs as required, supported by superb training and development opportunities.
About the Role & About you
About You
* Hold a valid MOT Testing License.
* Have proven experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs, including tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, and general vehicle servicing across a wide range of makes and models.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
* Hold a full, current UK driving license.
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensure all work carried out on vehicles is completed safely and to a high standard.
* Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA/VOSA requirements and company procedures.
* Perform general servicing and base-level mechanical repairs, including brakes, exhausts, and related components.
* Complete fast-fit tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and accurately interpret alignment readings and adjustments.
* Identify any additional faults and clearly report findings to management and customers.
* Work at all times in compliance with health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
* Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing the correct company uniform at all times.
* Carry out any reasonable tasks or requests as required by the management team.
* Always adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
