MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a rapidly expanding professional haircare brand to recruit a Country Manager. This is a permanent role, based in London, reporting directly to the Regional Leadership Team.
The Country Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the brand’s operations, sales, and strategic direction within the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth across salon and retail partners, managing profitability, and leading a talented team to deliver excellence. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the UK market strategy in alignment with the brand’s global vision, driving both short- and long-term growth objectives.
* Deliver revenue and profit targets through robust planning, effective account management, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
* Lead and strengthen partnerships with professional salon networks, distributors, and key retail accounts, ensuring best-in-class execution and brand representation.
* Own the P&L for the market, overseeing budget planning, sales forecasting, and margin optimisation to achieve financial goals.
* Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
* Ensure seamless cross-functional execution between sales, marketing, education, and supply chain, maintaining alignment with global standards.
* Identify new business opportunities within the professional and retail sectors, leveraging market insights to inform strategy.
* Represent the brand with senior partners, key customers, and industry bodies, positioning the company as a leader in professional haircare innovation.
* Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions that drive sustainable growth.

* Proven leadership experience within the professional salon and retail haircare industry, with a strong track record of driving growth across both channels.
* Extensive experience in sales and commercial management, ideally within a fast-paced, brand-led environment.
* Demonstrable success in strategic planning, budget ownership, and P&L management, with the ability to balance commercial goals and brand integrity.
* A motivational leader who can build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
* Sharp commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insight into actionable strategy.
