Learning Support Assistant (1:1) Location: Secondary School - Horsham Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP - interviews after half term Actual annual salary - £27,122 - term time only We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil within a small, specialist provision based on a secondary school site. This is a relationship-led TA role requiring consistency, emotional intelligence, and a calm, therapeutic approach. The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to one pupil, acting as a key adult throughout the school day and helping them to access learning in a way that meets their individual needs as a Teaching Assistant. The role would particularly suit someone with strong pastoral or behaviour support experience, who is confident supporting pupils who require high levels of reassurance, structure, and adult guidance and supporting a bespoke curriculum. The provision is supported by a wider multidisciplinary team, with access to additional specialist input as required.
