Electrical Lecturer / Assessor – Apprenticeships
Full Time | 37 hours per week
Salary: £37,263 – £40,079 per annum
An established and well-regarded further education college group in Berkshire is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Lecturer / Assessor to support and assess electrical apprentices in the workplace.
This is an excellent opportunity for an industry-qualified electrical professional who enjoys developing the next generation of electricians while remaining connected to the industry through employer engagement and site-based assessment activity.
The role will be based across modern college campuses, with regular travel to employer sites to assess apprentices within their workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Travelling to employer sites to assess electrical apprentices in the workplace
Supporting learners through their apprenticeship journey
Carrying out workplace observations, reviews, and assessments
Maintaining accurate learner progress records
Building strong relationships with employers and apprentices
Ensuring learners are progressing in line with apprenticeship standards
Essential Requirements
JIB Gold Card holder
Level 3 Electrical qualification
18th Edition qualification
2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
AM2 qualification
Assessor Award
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Previous experience within the electrical industry
Strong communication and organisational skills What's on offer?
