Overview
We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care for our Cygnet Yorkshire Supported Living service based in Huddersfield. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. This specialist service supports individuals who may have been previously detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement within the local community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
* Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
* Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with medical and welfare needs
* Report on medical and welfare needs as required
* Safeguard
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
Working pattern
You’ll be working 42 hours a week, covering 12 hour shifts and ideally be a car driver.
