With two operational bases in the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site, you will find opportunities to assist across the whole portfolio, but you will primarily report to Stonehenge Cottages / Countess Farm and focus on five exceptional sites in South Wiltshire. This includes organising and maintaining tools, vehicles and equipment associated with practical work.You will work both on your own and with other members of staff, as well as with several volunteer groups supervising them on a variety of practical tasks. Communication and administrative duties tied to volunteer management will be essential. It is all about being outside and getting your hands dirty, looking after our nature and heritage, and making our sites accessible for our many visitors. With your endless passion for our work, you will help with the protection and care of habitats, wildlife, property and machinery, and your passion will inspire others to love this beautiful place as much as you do.
