GSL Education are searching for an inspiring RE Teacher to work in Sheffield (S11), delivering engaging and thoughtful lessons that promote respect, understanding, and critical thinking. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons covering major world religions, ethics, and moral issues, helping students develop knowledge and confidence in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Core Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach topics relating to world religions, beliefs, and ethical discussions. Encourage respectful conversation and critical thinking. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
