Experienced Bench Joiner & Cabinet Maker
We are looking for an experienced Joiner to work within our workshop in South London. The right candidate must have a complete knowledge of all aspects of Joinery and carpentry and able to work on all workshop machinery in the making of windows, doors, staircases, counters, wardrobes, laminates, veneers and more.
Duties, Responsibilities & Skills;
- Be able to work unsupervised both in the workshop and on site
- Have the ability to handle detail-orientated work in order to produce the highest standards of craftsmanship
- To have excellent finishing qualities on workshop joinery and site installation
- Have experience using a variety of machinery, tools and equipment, safely and skilfully including, spindle moulder, planer, morticer etc.
- To work out job requirements from drawings, templates and written instructions
- To be able to select appropriate timber as per project and cut to size
- Good time management in order to work to deadlines effectively
- To be able to work independently or as part of a team
