Job Description
Join us as a summer intern for 8 - 12 weeks in our Transmission and Distribution team within our Civil Engineering division. You’ll work alongside graduates, experienced professionals, and other students, providing a perfect opportunity to learn from a diverse group while understanding our values and culture. This role offers the chance to engage with real projects and gain relevant experience. If invited to an interview, we will discuss the specific responsibilities and expectations of the role in more detail.
Our internship program does not follow a formal structure, allowing you to tailor the role to your interests. The more involved you become and the more questions you ask, the more you will gain from your experience with us.
Candidate Specification
To be eligible for our summer placement, you must currently be enrolled at university in your penultimate year studying Civil or Structural Engineering and demonstrate the following qualities:
* A methodical approach to problem-solving
* The ability to use your initiative to complete tasks efficiently and independently
* Excellent verbal communication skills for liaising confidently with clients and team members
* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
