Quality Inspector

This is a great opportunity to join a leading design and manufacturing company in Devon, working within the Quality department. You will be given regular training to update your skills and progress your career and development. The company service differnt sectors such as Agricultural, Automotive and Marine.
The Role:
* Conduct checks on first/last offs and other regular inspections of products throughout the machining process to ensure adherence to quality standards :ISO9001.
* Using metrology equipment, such as; Verniers and Micrometers.
* Inspecting a range of hydraulic parts, such as pumps, cylinders and valves for the marine and mobile sectors. Customers include Navico, Raymarine, Roger dyson and Teagle.
* Analyse inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
* Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
* Prepare detailed reports on quality issues and communicate findings to management.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality assurance practices and correct operation of measuring equipment.
* Assist in the development of quality control procedures and documentation.
The Person:
* Proven experience in a similar role within Quality Assurance Inspection.
* Familiarity with CMM programming and operation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high:quality standards.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.
