We’re looking to hire an Associate Bid Manager to join our growing Bid team at Clancy. You will play a key role in helping to create successful, “best in class” bid submissions that lead to industry innovation and ensure we continue to secure work that makes a real difference to our communities.
Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in…
1. Working closely with Bid Managers to put together diverse bid teams, including senior executives, internal subject matter experts, specialist subcontractors, and designers.
2. Acting as a point of contact for clients during the bid process.
3. Managing the requirements of submissions through to award of contract, including supporting presentation and interview preparation.
4. Maintaining a full audit trail throughout the tender process until formal contract handover.
5. Producing detailed contract handover packs and attending contract start-up meetings to support a smooth transition from bid to delivery.
We would love to hear from you if…
You have previous experience working within a bid environment, with fantastic communication skills and a natural flair for bringing people together to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. You will be highly organised, confident in managing conflicting priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You will be computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office applications, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach. Experience within the civils or utilities sector is preferred, and we would welcome applications from those with a background as an Associate Bid Manager or with several years of experience as a Bid Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career.
