ABOUT THE ROLE
As a breakfast Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly and energetic team delivering great service across our bar, breakfast and dining areas. You’ll be hands-on, guest-focused and take pride in creating positive experiences for every guest, whether they’re starting their day with breakfast or winding down with a drink in the evening.
This role is available on a part-time basis (20-25 hours per week). Due to the nature of hotel operations, shift work including weekends and bank holidays will be required.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST TEAM MEMBER
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor or Manager, your day may include:
Preparing dining and bar areas ready for service, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Welcoming guests warmly and providing friendly, professional table and bar service
Taking food and drink orders accurately and processing them through the POS system
Delivering food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality, presentation and temperature
Actively promoting menu items and maximising sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling
Maintaining clean, organised service areas throughout your shift
Supporting room service operations where required, including order taking and delivery
Working collaboratively with kitchen and hotel teams to ensure smooth service
Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
Responding positively to guest queries and resolving issues, escalating where appropriate
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire for attitude and potential, but the following will help you succeed in this role:
A positive, friendly approach and a genuine passion for hospitality
Previous experience in food & beverage or customer service is helpful, but not essential
Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests
A team-focused mindset with a willingness to support colleagues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good awareness of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided)
Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern including weekends
